What types of Leagues Do We Offer?
At Rush Girls Flag Football, we are proud to present 2 leagues tailored to meet the needs of our participants.
**Recreational League**
For all Girls K-12th, our Recreational League fosters a fun and inclusive environment for everyone
- Practice once a week at a local field
- Games once a week in Kennett Square (8 game schedule including playoffs)
-Jersey, Flags & Pinnies Included
**Competitive League**
For those seeking a higher level of play, we offer a Competitive League that includes divisions for High School, 14U, 12U, and 10U players.
-Practice 2-3 times a week in preperation of 3 local tournaments for the fall season
-Scrimmages - Approx. 8 in-house scrimmages
-Custom Jerseys, Flags, Practice Pinnies & Professional Photography
This league is designed for players who wish to elevate their game and compete at a more intense level.

How do I sign up?
For the Recreational League:
Register directly on our website. The cost for the season is $165, which includes a jersey, flags and practice pinnie
For the Competitive League:
To join, please register for free for one of our scheduled tryout dates. Following the conclusion of the tryouts, you will receive an email notification regarding your registration if you have successfully made one of our Competitive Teams.

What Happens if I Don't Qualify for the Competitive Team?
In the event that you do not qualify for one of our Competitive Teams, you will receive an official email following the Tryouts. This communication will include a link to sign up for our Recreational Team. We encourage all participants to consider this opportunity, as it provides an alternative avenue for engagement and skill development within our organization.

Can I Participate in Both the Competitive and Recreational Leagues?
YES
You are permitted to participate in both leagues. However, it is important to note that full Competitive teams are not eligible to register as a unit in the Recreational League. Competitive players engaging in the Recreational League will be systematically allocated among the recreational teams to ensure a balanced and fair playing experience for all participants.

Where are Games and Scrimmages?
All Games and Scrimmages will be in Kennett Square, PA or in the surrounding area.
What Areas Do You Serve?
Rush Flag Football serves Chester County, PA; Delaware Country, PA; New Castle County, DE.
We currently have practices fields available in Kennett Square Area, West Chester Area and Garnet Valley Area.
When and Where are Practices?
Rush Flag Football is committed to organizing practices that effectively accommodate the preferences and schedules of our players, teams, and coaches. We strive for transparency in all our operations. During the registration process, participants will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred location and day of the week for practice sessions.
Volunteer Coaches get to choose the day, time, and location of their team's practice. The league reserves fields most nights of the week in municipalities across the Chester County / Delaware County Area. Rosters will be formed by our volunteer age group commissioners; they generally try to group teams by schools and coaches' practice locations. Your coach will provide practice information at least one week before the first game. We ask for your flexibility as numbers never work out perfectly. Please make a note during registration if there is a night of the week that you absolutely cannot make practice.
Do Player's Have to Play in NFL Flag in Order to Participate in Tournaments?
NO
The Tournaments that Rush Flag Football particiapte in are FFL Tournaments and you do not need to have any affiliation with NFL Flag.
The first fall season, we may particiapte in the NFL Flag Regional Tournament, where particiapants would have had to play in a NFL league in the past 12 months. If teams do not quality, we will be particiapating in the Santa Bowl instead.
Is Rush Flag Football a Non-Profit Organization?
Although Rush Flag Football is structured as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), it operates with the heart and mission of a non-profit organization. This means that any excess funds generated through registration fees will be directrly reinvested into the program, specifically to provide gear and merchandise for both players and coaches.
Who Owns Rush Flag Football?
Rush Flag Football is proudly owned and operated by Nicole Farrell, the current High School Division Girls Flag Football Coach. Over the past few years, Nicole has been a driving force in expanding girls flag football across the Kennett Square, West Chester, and Garnet Valley communities. Through her vision and tireless volunteer efforts, she has helped shape and elevate the sport at the local level.
Nicole founded Rush Flag Football with the mission to create opportunities for young female athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, and compete in a supportive environment.
Nicole’s unwavering commitment and countless volunteer hours have made a lasting impact on the lives of young athletes and the growth of girls flag football in the region.
